Wed, 1st Oct 2008   After his stint in Bigg Boss, Abhishek Bachchan will soon be seen again on the Colors channel. Since the release of Drona is closer to heels, Abhishek and Goldie Behl are promoting the movie on a huge scale. Earlier stars appeared on reality shows now they have begun targeting serials with high TRP’s. Abhishek will be seen addressing the small children on the show.
Abhishek will now appear in Color’s popular soap, “Balika Vadhu”. He would be seen interacting with the prime characters of the show Anandi, Jagdish and Shugna. In fact, before the shoot itself, Abhishek gelled with his kiddie co-stars for the show and developed a friendly rapport with them.
Creative Head Purnindo Shekhar, “Abhishek will be playing himself. He will be seen interacting with the protagonists of the show, Jagdish and Anandi, but he will be shocked to realize that the two are married”. He adds that Abhishek’s appearance on the show will be a part of the regular half an hour episode. There will be no special extended episode for his cameo.
The episode would be aired on 2 October. So, watch out for Abhishek’s small screen performance.  |
